Autumn Greetings

I’m loving fall this year, the cooler nights and the clear cool days. Wednesday we drove up to Blue Ridge Ga. to the apple house the leaves were so lovely. I got some apples, apple cider, and fried apple pies, these are so good. We even found some Christmas gifts.( I like to start early) it was a wonderful day.

The Autumn Greetings challenge starts today at the DRS designs blog. I hope you can come on over and join in the fun.

For my card I used the Scarecrows and Corn Rows Greeting, Lady Scarecrow, Large Scarecrows, and the Medium Silhouette Leaf. All of the stamps can be found at DRS designs. The background was created using Twinkling H2’0s in Bronze Medallion this was painted on the stamp. Copic markers were used to color the scarecrows. I hope you join our Autumn Greeting challenge for a change to win some great prizes.

A weekend in Talking Rock

Wow it has been a busy few week. We spent this past weekend in Talking Rock Ga. It’s the third smallest town in the state. The weather was beautiful, and I thought I would share a few pitchers with you, some of them are not very good, It’s amazing what changing your camera setting will do for pitcher quality.

Have a wonderful day,

Your So Sweet

Hello everyone, my card today uses two of the new DRS designs released Halloween stamps,                   Your So Sweet , and the Mini Marshmallow, this stamp is sooo cute.

For the background I put the Your So Sweet and the Mini Marshmallow on the acrylic block together and used Memento Rich Cocoa to stamp all over the cream card and sponged antique linen and walnut stain Distress Ink. I stamped the Toasting Marshmallow in Tuxedo Black and colored with copic markers. A Spellbinder Oval die was used to cutout the image and antique linen Distress Ink was sponged around the edge while it was still in the die. This was layered on to a Spellbinder scalloped oval.
