Hi everyone, it's time for a new DSR designs challenge and this week the challenge is So Shapely ( use two or more shapes on your card.

I stamped the Love Meter and used Copic markers to color the image. Then I used a circle die to cut out the image and cut the bottom off and added some glitter glue to the center heart. I die cut a square and used a white pen to add the dots. This was placed on a brown circle. I stamped the Fill Up On Love and used a circle die then Copic markers. For the background I used the Splatter Background and pink and brown ink. The bow is seam biding that I colored with Copic markers.

Roses Three

Hi everyone, I have a great challenge for you today. The DRS designs challenge this week is a color challenge.

Aren't those great colors for Valentines.

When I saw the colors I new that I wanted to use roses. And DRS designs has some beautiful ones.

I used the Heart Stem Rose and the Single Rose .

I started by stamping the Heart Stem Rose then masking and just stamping the Rose of the Single Rose.

I love my Copic markers but I have never found a color combo for pink that I really love. I want a bubble gum bright pink. If you have any ideals please share.

This was layered onto green card stock with a 1/16 edge. The lacy dolly is a Spellbinder die, that I cut into so it would show on both sides. The Lacy bottom edge is a Spellbinder die. I stamped the One Line Valentine Greeting and did the 1/16 green mat.

For the back I used part of a image that did not make it to a card and stamped the Script Hand Stamped.

I hope you will join us in this fun challenge, who knows you might win a great prize.

Cowboy Love

Janett Ray
Janett's Stamping Place

Hi everyone, we have been having some cold days this week and I have been wanting to make a winter card this is what I came up with.

I started by stamping the Cowboy Snowman, and coloring with Copic markers.

I wanted it to have a Valentine feel and I don't have a heart die so I cut one with a X-acto Knife. Then I went around the edge with a clear Embossing pen  and added some white embossing powder. I wanted it to look rustic not to smooth. After hearing the powder I ran it through a snow embossing folder. The I stamped the
                  I Melt For You Greeting

with Peacock Distress Ink, and added a snowflake button.

All the stamp are DRS designs.

And here are the colors that I used.

If you like what you see or have any questions please leave a comment.

Have a wonderful day,
