Cupcake Inspiration Challenge

This is the card that I created for the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge. I was very happy with the way this card came out.
For the background I used the Woven Plaid stamp. Using only the medium stripe and black ink I stamped the background. I love the way this turned out to me I looks like ticking. This was layered onto black card stock. For the strip across the bottom I did the same thing only using the small strip and I all so used Ladybug and Butterfly Card Edger after stamping in black ink the image were colored with copic markers then layered onto black card stock. For the focal image I used the Medium Daisy Bloom. And colored with Copic markers. I cut out the flower with scissors and mounted it on a black square that was cut with a Spellbinder die. I added a pretty pink bow and I was done.

DRS designs is sponsoring Cupcake Inspiration Challenge being January 29 the prize for this challenge is a $10.00 Store Voucher.

The card that I made for the challenge uses the Filigree Heart. I

silver embossing powder. I used scissors to cut out the hearts, and

attached them to a silver square of card stock cut with my

and attached to a silver card. The one line greeting was stamped

and embossed in silver on black card then cut out with a spellbinder

Everthing Irish

Good morning everyone, today I wanted to share a little luck of the

Irish with you. My card today is a Telescoping card.

I used the spellbinder circle die and the lacey circle die.

From ivory card stock I cut 3 circles in different sizes. From green

card I cut 2 circles to mat behind the largest and the smallest circle.

On the smallest circle I stamped Swirly-Shamrocks in green ink.

Then use brown ink to stamp Irish-On-Greeting. Using Distress Ink

in Antique Linen, I sponged around the edges with the circle die

still in place. Layered onto the green card that was cut with the

Lacey Circle. On the middle circle I stamped Everything-Irish, and

colored with copic markers, leaving the die in place I sponged the

edges. On the largest circle I stamped An-Irish-Blessing and

sponged the edges. This was layered onto a green circle cut with the

lacey circle die. Poke a hole in the bottom of the smallest circle, in

the top and bottom of the middle circle and the top of the largest

circle. Add brads.

Organizing Spellbinder Dies

Good morning everyone. Well I took the tree down yesterday and packed everything away, it just so much more fun going up. I still need to clean the house, not high on the fun list. So after all the Christmas stuff was put away I did not want to clean and my DH was watching the Georgia Game, not my thing so I thought I would do a little more organizing so I started organizing my Spellbinder die, I got quite a few new ones for Christmas and I wanted something that was easy to use and easy to put away. So this is what I came up with.

I started the EZMount Lightweight stamp storage panels. I love these you can get them at DRS designs Here. I had some magnet tape in my stash that I have had for years. Well of course I did not have enough, so a trip at Wal-Mart and of course they did not have the same kind of magnet tape but I did fine some after walking all over the store. it’s a lot thinner and not as strong. So I covered the sheet with the tape and made index strips with the name of the set and the number of dies in the set, so I will know if any are missing. Looking at the note book this morning I think this is going to work well. Only time will tell.

The yellow box is the Magnet Tape that I had.

The next thing on my list to organize is my paper, my wonderful son in law built me a amazing storage rack for Christmas, and I cant wait to get it filled.
