Give Thanks

Hi all, I am back with a new DRS designs challenge.

This weeks challenge is a color challenge. And in this combination has almost  every fall color.

For my card I did a easel card with a new Thanksgiving stamp the Cornucopia.

I stamped and colored the Cornucopia then fussy cut.

For the card I die cut a rust square with a circle die cut in the center. Then I heat embossed the Thanksgiving Arc across the top. I used burlap ribbon behind the circle and across the bottom. The Give Thanks Bible Verse.

Join us in the fun color challenge.

Zombies in the Pumpkin Patch

Hi all, I spent yesterday helping my grand daughter make her Halloween costume. We had the best time making precious memories.

For my card today I wanted to make one more Zombie card.

The Zombie Crawler has gotten into the pumpkin patch.

I started by stamping the Zombie, covering him with a mask then stamping the Simply Pumpkin. Everything was colored with Copic markers. I stamped the Beware Zombies Sign and fussy cut.

I used the Card Sketch from Splitcoast. The background is a embossing folder.

Have a great day,

Background with Pumpkin

Hi everyone,

My card today goes along with the new background challenge.

I started by stamping the Simply Pumpkin with a black color box ink and clear embossing powder this was covered with a mask. I place the card back in my misty and stamped the 1 line Beauty of Autumn with Memento Coco ink moving the card 1/2 inch I stamped it again with Memento Peanut Brittle for each time it was stamped I moved the card 1/2 inch up or down to cove the card.

When this was finished I removed the mask and used Zig Clear Color to color the image. This was layered onto dark brown card stock then a white top fold card.

I want to tell you about a new product that I have found it's Avery Removable Multipurpose Labels this works great for mask and they hold up well after using them you can put it back on the release paper and save them to use again later.

Have a wonderful day,

Fall Backgrounds

Hi all, it's time for the new DRS designs challenge.

And the new challenge is

Stamp your own background

For my card I started with Polka Dot Background and white color box ink then white embossing powder.
On the other strip I stamped the Happy Fall Y'all
In Memento Cantaloupe,Peanut Brittle, Tangelo, Distress Ink Peeled Paint.
I stamped the Add A Fence on kraft paper then I did a wash with Copic Opaque White and fussy cut.

I love making backgrounds you can use any stamp or technique.

The Lady Scarecrow was stamped with color box black then embossed with clear powder on to Range watercolor paper.

To color her I used my new Zig Clear Color marker.
This is the first time I have used them and I really do like them I think with a little practices these will be a fave. I love the rich bright colors they blend wonderful with each other and a little water goes a long way.

The beauty of Autumn...

The new DRS designs challenge this week is a
Autumn Wonders.

For my card I used the Open Leaf

I stamped it repeatedly masking as I stamped.

Then I used my new Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens to color the leaves. These pens are so fun you can use water if you want a lighter water color look. They blend great and you can us the over the top of you Copic. They have so much sparkle.

After coloring the leaves I made a frame and mat then used a white jell pen for the stitch marks.

The Beauty Of Autumn   was stamped with white color box pigment ink then embossed with white embossing powder on vellum.

On the inside I used the Changing Leaves and Coco Brown. I stamped the Medium Silhouette Leaf that I colored on the stamp with the sparkle pen.

Join in the fun.

Have a wonderful day,
