Peace Be Your Gift

Hi everyone, with all the turmoil going on in the world I thought this was a perfect sentiment to show today.

This is a Corner Folded Card. You use a post it note to get the position for the fold then cut on two sides so the corner will flip over. The front was stamped and gold embossed with the Interlocking Snow Background, then the inside front was stamped and gold embossed with the Snow Background. Over the fold I used the new Joy To You Christmas Circle.

On the inside I used the
Peace Be Your Gift Christmas Greeting.
This is my wish for everyone this holiday season.

Have a wonderful day,

Janett

This is a You Tube video that shows how to do the fold.

Give Thanks

Hi everyone, I hope you are enjoying your weekend. The card that I have today is a fall card that would be perfect for Thanksgiving.

The focal image is Sunflower Hurricane Candle this was colored with Copic markers and layered on to mats. For the greeting I stamped the Give Thanks Bible Verse and embossed with clear embossing powder. I sponged inks on the card then covered it with Versa Mark Ink then I added a tiny bit on gold Perfect Pearls and rubbed it in with my finger then buffed it with a Swiffer cloth.

I used, Memento: Cantalope and Tamgelo
Distress Ink: Squeezed Lemonade, Tumbled Glass

This is my new favorite technique.

My heart goes out to the people of Paris, God bless.

Snowy Birthday

Hi all, today I wanted to show you a card I made for my granddaughters birthday its not until December so want it to be more winter and not to much Christmas. I found this stamp last year but it did not arrive in time to us it then. I also wanted to use a different fold, so I chose to do a gate fold.

I started by stamping Marci by La - La Land Crafts I tried some different color combinations an  and decided to use the burgundy and brown on the front. After fussy cutting Marci I started on the front of the card. I cut two burgundy panels then using a old toothbrush and Copic Opaque White I spattered the panels. For the hill she is standing on was cut with a die then lightly covered with Flowersoft snow white. The sign is from DRS designs. The snowflake punches are MS.

I also want to tell you about a great deal that I found  it's a web site called Scrapbook Outlet  they have great prices on die and embossing folders I got five dies and a embossing folder for fifty dollars and free shipping. The service was a little slow as it took 4 days for it to be shipped but it does say on the web site that it could take three to five days, I ordered on a Monday and had it in my hand by the next Tuesday. At these prices I would gladly order from them again.

Have a wonderful day,

Janett

UP,UP and Away

What a week it has been wind, rain, leaves and traffic. Living in the woods is great in the summer really helps to keep the house cool but now we are being taken over by the falling leaves we had it all nice and clean for the little spooks looking for candy, candy, candy now the leaves are trying to move in the house. Oh my the traffic is crazy with all the leaf lookers and people going to the apple houses its the perfect excuse to stay home and stamp. Now that I'm done whinning I'll tell you about my card.

I stamped the Hot Air Balloon and colored with Copic markers. then covered with a mask and sponged in sky blue. The mountains were done with a stencil. The Give Thanks Verse was heat embossed with white embossing powder.

A little fall color about five minutes from my house.

Have a wonderful day,
