Under the Weather Challenge

Hi all, hope your staying warm. I'm so done with winter and ready for spring. I have been planing the garden and so ready to get started. This weekend is the stamp show and that is very exciting, I hope I find some cool new stuff.

Today is the new challenge at DRS designs the challenge this week is Under the Weather. I hope you will join in for a chance to win some great stamps.

For my card I made a easel card that is 5 x 5  I used a MS punch around the page for the edges. For the center I stamped the Blooming with Good Health with black ink. On a piece of paper I stamped the Dogwood Branch with black ink and colored with Copic markers. After fussy cutting, I added some Liquid Pearls to the center. When they were dry I attached them to the card.

Please join in the fun.

Have a wonderful day,

Hearts and Scrolls

Hi everyone, today I have a Valentine to share.

First I stamped  and embossed with gold embossing powder the Hearts and Scrolls onto white card stock.
Then I stamped it again and covered it with extra sticky tape and cut it out with scissors. This was covered with red glitter. And attached with a pop dot.
From red card stock the frame was cut with a die.

for the next layer I used the extra sticky tape around the edges and add gold glitter. Then I added the red layer and attached to a white card. I cut a tag from white card and stamped and embossed with gold embossing Happy Valentines Day, I attached this with pop dots making a bow in the middle.

I hope this post looks ok, I just got new glasses and there bifocals, OOOh I feel old! : )
They are going to take some getting use to.

Have a wonderful day,

Butterfly Vine Happy Birthday

Hi  everyone, Today I have another birthday card for my collection.

I started with a white card stock cut to 4 x 5.25 inches. I stamped the Butterfly Vine on the left side with black ink. I added some color with copic markers. Then I did something I saw on pinterest. I lined the card stock on a angle on my Score Pal and scored lines every inch. Then turned a quarter of a turn and scored every inch. then I sponged Dusty Concord in the bottom corner. The Small Script Happy Birthday was stamped with Memento black ink and cut with a Spellbinder die. For the eggplant layer behind I traced around the die and cut with scissors. The seam binding was dyed with Wild Honey. Everything was attached to a white card.

Have a wonderful day,
