Quilts and Coco

Good Day, I hope all of you had a fabulous Christmas, I know I did. I so enjoy watching the kids and grand kids opening presents and being so happy and grateful. One of my favorite things to do is cuddle up in a warm blanket with a cup of hot chocolate watch a great movie or read a good book. And I did just that as long as the air conditioner is on it's not to bad.

For my card I stamped and colored the Designer Quilt Square  then die cut and layer it onto the green card stock I stamped the once onto red cs and embossed it with white embossing powder. then a second time on to white cs I fussy cut and layered the red cup over the white. The new Warm thoughts greeting was stamped and layered onto green.

Have a wonderful day,

Janett

I started by stamping the Holiday Fireplace three times and cutting out different layers and attaching them with foam tape. The Tiny Snowman was fussy cut and attached with foam tape. The wreath is die cuts. To finish it off I stamped and gold embossed the Merry Christmas Arc.

The Heart of Christmas

This has been the hottest Christmas season that we have had in a long time, it's seventy degrees and my early blooming azaleas are starting to bloom how crazy is that.

For this card I start with the background and cut the blue paper in half on an angle. For the top part I used the Interlocking Snow Background and used Versa Mark and stamped around the edge then embossed with silver embossing powder.for the bottom half I used a embossing folder. I covered the cut edge with the white die cut strip. I stamped the Baby Jesus heart with black ink so I could color it with Copic markers then I stamped the heart and star with Versa Mark and embossed it with silver. The greeting is the Jesus is the heart of Christmas .

DRS designs has added this new Jesus Heart Postage Frame so your envelope will match your card perfectly. I used silver ink.

Have a wonderful day,

This was the first time that he has every been tho the hospital sense the day I brought him home 35 years ago. Anyway that is why I did get the challenge post up on  Thursday.

The paper that I used was the Reflections silver and gold paper that I got from Michaels. There is a layer of gold glitter paper then I used the Starry Background and gold embossing powder on the top third. Then I stamped the the Giant Poinsettia two times and gold embossed it the gold embossing powder. This was fussy cut and layered then I attached it with foam tape. The Deco Christmas New Year was embossed with silver embossing powder. and layered onto silver glitter paper.

Off to get the Christmas Tree

Good morning everyone.
I hope your Christmas perpetration are going well. When my kids were little we always went to a Christmas tree farm to get our tree. It was great fun they had hay rides, hot apple cider and my son always cut down our tree. This made great memories that the kids carry on with there families.

With my card I tried to recreate those special memories.

The card base was made using a center step die.
I started by stamping the Christmas Village Tree Store   I used a mask then stamped the Christmas Village Sloped Roof Cottage I used part of the Christmas Village Pond with Bridge. Behind the cottage the Pine Tree Snowdrifts were stamped. Everything was colored with Copic markers and Flower Soft was added for the snow.

The smaller of the Double Tall Pines was used on the sides. And the Merry Christmas is from the Christmas Multi Greeting.

I hope you are making lots of special memories with your family's.

Have a wonderful day
