The Beauty of Springtime

Hi all,
What a week it has been, we have had some terrible storms this week one night the power went off at 9:00 and didn't come back on until the next afternoon. Today is beautiful with the sun shinning so I can see all the yard work that needs to be done I think spring is finally here.

My card this week is a Easter card that is very simple.

With this new set of stamps I found myself do this almost one layer stamping. I found that I really liked the look of stamping the Image and the Greeting on the same layer and it was super simple with the use of my Misty.

For this card I stamped the Brushed Pussy Willow twice across the bottom of the panel and then stamping the new Springtime Easter Greeting in Memento Coco Ink I used Copic to color the image. This was layered onto a Lt. Pink die cut card then onto a cream card. I just loved the simple elegant look.

Have a wonderful day,

Spring is in the air

Hi all, what a week it has been, old man winter woke up in a bad mood, from all the snow in the north and freezing temps down south. All my beautiful azalea's were starting to bloom with the promise of spring only to be frozen and now are a ugly brown. Today promises to be warmer so my hopes for spring are anew.

So my card this week is all about spring.

I started by stamping the Ducks Decoration and coloring with Zig Clear Color markers. The daffodils are from the Daffodil Frame that I fussy cut. The white embossed It's Spring is from the Spring Bee Happy Greeting. After embossing I rubbed Mousse Peony Pink Nuvo Embellishment Mousse over the top.

For the background I used the Nuvo Embellished Mousse in Peony Pink, Aquamarine, Cornflower Blue and a stencil. So now back to dreaming of spring.

Have a wonderful day,

Janett

Irish Dancer

Hi everyone, we are getting a little bit of winter this weekend, while I look out at the azalea blooming. I hope this cold snap doesn't kill all the flowers.

For my card this week I went with a slider card so my little Jazz Dancer could dance across.

I colored and fussy cut the Jazz Dancer. For the background I stamped the Shamrock Background   with Versa Mark Ink then the Get Your Irish On was gold embossed.

When you pull the tab that was stamped with the Shamrock Background and gold embossed the little Jazz Dancer movers across the card. the brown strip was stamped with the Wood Grain Background. and Coco ink. The Irish Good Luck Circle was gold embossed and fussy cut.

Have a wonderful day,

Janett

Over The Hill

Hi all, I hope you had a great week. Do you every wake up tired that is how I felt Saturday morning I tried everything to perk my self up then I just settled on a nap. Sometimes you just half to give in and rest. And that brings me to my card today. I felt like this a lot when my  children were little.

I think this greeting is so funny It's called Over the Hill I stamped it with blue ink and used a cloud die to cut the image. The hill was cut free hand and I used the Easy Grass Background. I stamped the Tired Walking Woman colored her with Copic markers and fussy cut. These stamps make a funny card.

Have a great day,

Janett
