Winter Delights

Hi all, i'm ready for some cold and snow. I am so done with this warm winter and these crazy storms I pray for all the people that lost there homes in the south.

As I was thinking of snow I made this winter card.

I started by stamping the Winter Wonder Words Background on white card stock with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. On a separate piece of card stock I used a edge die to cut the hill then I stamped the Simple Snowman  and colored him with Copic markers I covered him with a mask and stamped the Snow Background with the Peacock Feather Ink. Along the top edge I used glitter glue to add a frosty touch. These were mounted on brown card stock then a white card.

On the inside I stamped the Snowy Days Frosty Night in Coco Ink then stamped the Snow background over the top.

On the back I added the Snowman Especially for you and a strip with the snow background.

Have a wonderful day,

Janett

Amazing Love

On this rainy Sunday I wanted to share with you my Amazing Love Puzzle card. This is such a fun stamp that could be used in so may different way's it would be great for kids Valentines. For my card I was experimenting with different mediums.

I started by stamping with Versa Mark and embossing with gold embossing powder the                           Amazing Love Puzzle
I add a little color with Zig clean Color pen in a few random places. I used the Versa Mark pad along the edges and glitter embossing powder. The frame was covered with Nuvo Embellishment Mousse. This was layered on to another sheet with the glitter embossing powder along the edge . On the card I used Tearific Tape and Nuvo Gilding Flakes.
I was happy with the way my card experiment turned out it's a little different for a Valentine but it very sparkly. You just never know were a experiment will take you.

Have a wonderful day,

Janett

Loved you always

Hi all what a beautiful weekend we are having here in north Georgia last Sunday it was 11 degrees a week later it's 70 degrees and beautiful.

I thought I would get started on my Valentines it will be here before we know it.

After die cutting the white card stock I stamped the Loved You Yesterday, with Memento Love Letter Red. I think this is a beautiful greeting. With black ink I stamped the Small Hanging Hearts colored them with Copic I added a white highlight then covered them with my Sparkle Pen. I die cut the scalloped edge then used my sparkle pen and foam tape to attach. A white bow finished my card.

Hope you have a lovely weekend,

Janett

Snowdrifts through the Trees

Hello, everyone we had out first snow of the year, we got 4 whole inches that's a lot of snow for us. It just beautiful with the sun shinning so bright . So I had to make a snow card.

I keep is simple not a lot of coloring. To start I stamped the Christmas Village Gazebo  then masked and stamped the Pine Tree Snowdrifts . I die cut the frame and trees from kraft cs and used Copic Opaque White and a old tooth brush to spatter the front.and added two litter cardinals.

On the inside I use the Baby it's Cold Outside. It was stamped in black and I used a white glaze pen for the highlights and two more little red birds.

Here is a look at our beautiful snow.

Have a wonderful day,

Warm Hearts

Happy New Years

I hope you had the best night. And I pray this year will be better than the last.

I started my card by stamping the Penguin Snowball Blast covering it with a mask then cutting a mast for the mountains. I used Picked Raspberry Distress Ink.

Copics were used to color the rest of the image. On the Igloo I used some white Wink of Stella to tone down the blue.

The mountains and snow areas I used a clear Spectrum Noir pen.

I really like the new half circle dies that everyone is using. I don't have one, so I put my own twist on this and created my one look. I used a straight stitch die to cut across the bottom then a circle die to cut the rest.

I stamped the Snowy Days Frosty Nights Greeting in to parts. And cut out with a circle die. The Winter Wonder Words were stamped with Picked Raspberry Distress Ink. To finish it off I added a little bling to the punched snowflakes.

Have a wonderful day,

Janett
