Triple Layer Card

Good morning, I did this card over the weekend. I have been seeing this layout  all over the place and thought that it was cute and simple that I would give it a try, and add my own twist to it. Then tis morning over on Splitcoast it is the challenge for Monday so I went back a change it to the way I have been seeing all the cards and entered it in the challenge. The card is called the Triple Layers. I allso got to play with my new Inktense Pencils, I really like using these pencils the color is so rich.


This is how I did the card first all the stamps are DRS designs.

Natures Christmas Greeting


Good Morning, today I have a new release from DRS designs Natures Christmas Greeting. I stamped it with a brown Memento stamp pad and colored it with Copic markers. Then I added a little color in the windows. It is layered on to green card that was cut with a spellbinder die. The background is a embossing folder.

DRS designs challenge Christmas Cards


Good Morning, I hope all of you are having a good Thursday. Today’s challenge at DRS designs is any Christmas Card, if you haven’t started those cards now is a good time and enter it in the challenge.

For my card I used 3 of DRS designs new release Christmas stamps. This beautiful Tree Line stamp(320H), the Little Snowman (256B), and Sign Post (283F).



First I stamped the sign post, and covered it with a mask, then I stamped the little Snowman it was covered with a mask, then I stamped the tree line.  I air brushed the sky with copic markers. The images were colored with Copics.
On another piece of white card I used the Spellbinder scalloped circle to cut the center, then I used the Swiss Dot embossing folder, I added this to the card front with foam tape.

Three Wisemen Ornament


Hi everyone, I finely made it down to my stamp room. I was just playing around and came up with this Christmas ornament.




I used gold paper that was punched with a MS punch, folded and made into a mandolin. I stamped the Three Wisemen Peace stamp from DRS designs and embossed in gold then sponged with Distress Ink. It was cut with a Spellbinder Circle die and attached to a navy circle. This was attached to the front of the gold mandolin.

Happy Shark DRS designs

Hello everyone, the card that I have for you today features DRS designs The Happy Shark, Killer Birthday Greeting, and Bubbles.


From a gray card I cut a circle with a spellbinder die, then used a smaller die to cut a frame from black card I stamped and embossed in black the Killer Birthday onto vellum. Then I sponged on blue ink. The Happy Shark was stamped onto white card, and copic markers were used to color the image. I used scissors to cut out the shark. The bubbles were stamped on the velum and I used Glossy Accents to add some depth. Then I mounted the shark with foam tape. The vellum was attached to the back of the card.

DRS designs challenge Santa

Hello everyone, it's Thursday and mean it time for  DRS designs challenge. This weeks challenge is to use a Santa. So grab those Santa stamps and come and join in the fun.



For my card I used the Winter time Buddies. I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Then I made a mask to cover the image and air brushed the sky background. Copics markers were used to color the image. At the Scrapbook show I found this cool red flocking with glitter and brushable glue by Sprinkle and Sparkle, that I added to the Santa suit. I punched the icicle border with my M.S. punch covered it in glue and Bridal glitter by Sprinkle and Sparked. The snow flake is a M.S. punch covered in the same glitter.

Splish Splash


Hello everyone, hope your weekend is going well.



 The card I have today uses the new release stamps Happy Seal and Splish Splash. I stamped the Happy Seal and colored him with copic markers then I cut him out. He was layered onto blue paper that was embossed. The cloud is a die cut and the ball was made with a circle punch.

DRS design Challenge #33


It’s Thursday and that means Challenge time at DRS designs. For the challenge this week it’s a Blue Christmas so think blue and come on over and join us for some fun.


For mine I made a tag using the Vertical  Let it snow. It was stamped in black ink and colored with copic markers the background was airbrushed. I trimmed it and layered it on blue card. I stamped the 4 in 1 snowflakes in blue ink, a blue ribbon was added to the side and some snowflake brads. All of this was layered onto a blue cardstock.

Happy Octopus


Happy Sunday, everyone. The stamp that I’m showing today is the Happy Octopus, and Large open Plaid.



I stamped the Happy Octopus in black ink and colored him with Copic markers. Then I added a little glitter glue. The background was air brushed with yellow. And used a Spellbinder die to cut him out. He was layered onto a black square of card stock that was cut with a spellbinder die. I stamped the Large open plaid on white card with purple ink. And added a bow. The background was embossed with a embossing folder.

Christmas in July Challenge #32


Hello everyone,  the challenge at DRS designs this week is Christmas in July. So let’s see all those Christmas cards. Link up over on the DRS designs Blog.



For my card I used the Holly Hurricane, and Silent Night Sheet Music. I stamped the Holly Hurricane with Brilliance Graphite Black and embossed with black powder. Copic markers were used to color the image. I then used Glossy accents over the glass of the lamp. The Silent Night Sheet Music was stamped on to cream card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The edges were sponged with Distress Ink in Antique Linen. I used a Holly embossing folder on the green card stock

Watermelon Border


Today I’m sharing a card showing DRS designs, new releases stamp Watermelon Border. This a great stamp for a CAS card.



For the background I used the Large Original Plaid and a red stamp pad, this was layered on to a green card. The Watermelon border was stamped and colored with copic markers, and layered on to a green strip I added some gold brads. I stamped the July Birthday Greeting and layered it on green card. I love these stamps there is one for every month of the year. There wonderful for making quick birthday cards.
