World Map

I am so excited about this new World Map background stamp, I have wanted a map stamp for a long time so I suggested to DRS designs and here it is. I can see it being used for so many different kinds of cards, guy cards, graduation, thank you and so many more.

I stamped the World Map then used Prism Colored Pencils to add some color then wrinkled and added some Distress Ink. For the background I used the new Wood Grain Stamp and Rich Coco on Khaki card stock. I stamped the Vertical 2 Line Birthday in the Rich Coco I want it to look like someone was naughty and wood burned it into the table top. The Anchor was colored with Copic markers and fussy cut. I add some twine with a knot and that finishes this card.

For the inside I used the Leave a Path Verse  it's one of my favorites I use it for graduation, birthday or inspiration cards. Then I over stamped part of the World Map. You will be able to get the new stamps next week.

Don't forget to join the challenge this week Falling For You.

Autumn is Calling

I am so loving the cooler tempters and beautiful blue sky's It's almost time for a drive across the mountains to see the fall colors and a stop at the apple house for some fried apple pies.

I started by stamping the Open Leaf and the Fall Leaf with Acorn  with Memento Rich Cocoa the sponging on Memento Cantalope,Tangele, and Olive Grove these were fussy cut. With the Rich Cocoa I stamped the Autumn is Calling Greeting then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

Now for the plaid background I used my Misti and the cut apart Woven Plaid. The same colors the were used on the leaves were used for the plaid plus I added Fire Brick DI. All the mats were cut with the Perfect layers.

Now I want to tell you what I think of the Misty, before I bought mine I did a lot of research there was talk of the front cracking after about three months but other than that everyone just love there's.
First let me say the shipping was perfect, I could not have asked for better. When I order mine I got the graft paper and I'm so glad that I did. The stamps that I used was DRS designs there are red rubber that I mount with E Z Mount Cling Foam. I found that I need to use the black foam pad, with out it I would need to push to hard on the top and this could cause it to crack. I only use water and a clean soft cloth to clean my stamps. It was so easy to make the plaid background paper with the Misty, I think I am going to be very happy with this purchase.

Summers End

The new DRS designs challenge this week is a color challenge.

For my card I used the Summer's End Tree. I just love this stamp It is great for all seasons.

I stamped the Tree using my new Misty it worked great ( I will talk more about it later) in Memento Rich Coco ink. Then I used Copic markers to color the sky (B000) and to all some green leaves to the tree ( YG 93,95) I cut this out with a oval die then used Dimensional Glue and added the Flower Soft (Autumn). This was layered onto a burnt orange oval I added a green die cut on to a burnt orange layer.  stamped the Autumn Greeting With the Rich Coco ink and cut with a oval and layered in on to a green layer then I used a MS limb punch from brown and added some Flower Soft this was fitted around the die cut three rhinestones were added to finish the tag. For the bow I sprayed the seam binding with alcohol then two drops of YG63.

Stella's View

Well I think fall is finely here, the leaves are falling we may not get a lot of color this year with all with wind and rain. But I do like the cooler temps.

I have a Halloween card today.

I've had this window die for a while and never used it, I wanted to create a view out Stella's window. After cutting the window I used the Large Original Plaid   for the wallpaper. Then I stamped part of the Magic Potion Shelf, and The Raven. The hat is from the Witchly Accessories it was colored and fussy cut. The moon was masked and colored with Copic markers with part of the Spooky Tree Limb stamped across the moon. All the layers were attached to a brown card.

I used a stitch die on the kraft card stock then added the ribbon weaving in the corner. This use attached to a green card, The Batty Halloween was attached with pop dots.
