Extra stick tape was applied to the back then I added the flakes This was attached to gold paper then a cream card. The Medium Happy Anniversary was gold embossed on cream card then cut with a oval die. This was layered onto gold paper. I stamped the Calla Lily Sympathy Frame in black ink and colored with Copic markers. I wanted it to be gold embossed so I used a stamp positioner and Veramark ink then gold embossing powder. The lily's were fussy cut.

Beautiful Background

Hi all, today I have a new DRS designs challenge. And the challenge is Beautiful Backgrounds. I  want to see your favorite background.

For my card I chose to do my new favorite background technique.

I wanted my card to give the ideal of a baby quilt. I stamped Jungle Jim the Elephant and colored with Copic markers. I stamped his head a second time and fussy cut. I stamped colored and fussy cut the Umbrella   then added some punched flowers to the edge. The Umbrella and Jungle Jim head was added with pop dots.

Now for the background.

I used Liquid Pearls, Plastic Wrap, and Distress Ink.

With a glob of the Liquid Pearls use the Plastic wrap and cover the paper.

Once you have your paper covered with the liquid pearls set aside to dry.

Once your paper is dry sponge with the ink. Then emboss in a embossing folder.

And you a fun beautiful easy background.

Come and join us in the fun.

Have a wonderful day.

Dancing in the rain

Hi everyone,
We've had plenty of April showers, they said on the news that 1950 was the last time we had this much rain.

I thought this would be the perfect stamp to use.

I stamp the Dancing in the rain with Memento Coco Ink and layered it onto brown paper.

The cute little Pig in Puddle and the Leafy Tree Branch was stamped and colored with Copic markers. Then I used Memento Summer Sky and stamped over the top of the image with the Raindrop Background. These were layered onto blue card stock that was embossed in a Dotted Swiss embossing folder then brown card stock and a white card.

Have some fun today, what ever the weather is doing.

I hope you will join in the challenge this week it's Neutrals.

Have a wonderful day,

Janett
