Dolphin Splash

Hi all, I have a fun spinner card for you today.

First I stamped Splash the Dolphin three times and colored them with Copic markers then fussy cut. Now for the working of the spinner.

I cut three of the circles one I used the smallest die to cut the center from the second largest circle. The one that is about two sizes larger this is were I stamped the  Splish Splash. The smallest circle is cut from fun foam. And there are three .25 inch strips. I used the one with the center cut out to trace around were I wanted it center on my card.

I used the pencil line to stamp the background then I air brushed a light blue. Attach the dolphin to the strips then glue them to the doughnut circle. I used a glue dot to attach the fun foam circle in the center of the doughnut. After stamping your larger circle attach it to fun foam circle with a glue dot.

I added some sequins and twine to finish.

Have a wonderful day,

Janett

Thank You

Hi everyone,

I need to explain my absence the last few days my father passed away Saturday June 11, it has been a very stressful time, I was able to keep him at home with the help of hospice for which I am very grateful.

I made Thank You notes for a few special people.

I started with this lavender card using the Brush Thank You  and gold embossing powder. Then I felt it was to feminine.

So I switched to the teal. The background is die cuts and a embossing folders.

A very sweet friend wrote this poem in honer of my dad and I wanted to share it with you.

Life Well Lived

Nearly a 100 years of history he stored beneath his hat,
his hair was white as snow... he was 94 to be exact.
His eyes could tell a story if only one man could dream,
they told about the olden days and how simple life seemed.
His hands with scars of cotton and from plowing with a mule.
he saw many changes and these are just a few.
But I can tell you all I know and it should never be the same,
his heart was lined with pure sweet gold and
Pa paw
was his name.

Camo Butterfly

Hi all, DRS designs have a new challenge today!
and the challenge is....

Camouflage

This was a hard challenge for me it took for ever to come up with a ideal, and here it is.

I started by making the paper first, its water color paper that I sprayed with water the dropped ink from Distress reinkers  I used ( peacock feathers, squeezed lemonade, evergreen bough)
when this was dry I die cut the butterfly, then I die cut another one from black fun foam so it would stand up a little. With black ink I stamped the Warms my heart greeting.

Join us in this fun challenge.

Have a wonderful day,

Janett
