Country Christmas

Merry Christmas

I hope all of you are having a Happy Holiday.

I have one last Christmas card for you.
I love the country Christmas look, so that is what I used for this this card.

I started by stamping the Holly Jingle Bells  and coloring with Copic markers. For the background I stamped the Checkerboard Background on kraft card stock twice and cutting it out. The Small Happy Holidays was stamped on to a die cut tag.

I thought I would share one more card today it was my Christmas Card.

I stamped the Wintertime Buddies and colored the with the Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens. They were fussy cut. I die cut the inlaid snowflake on to white paper. Glitter and sequins were attached to sticky tape on a separate piece of white card stock. All this was attached to a red card.

Have a wonderful day,

Janett

Background with Pumpkin

Hi everyone,

My card today goes along with the new background challenge.

I started by stamping the Simply Pumpkin with a black color box ink and clear embossing powder this was covered with a mask. I place the card back in my misty and stamped the 1 line Beauty of Autumn with Memento Coco ink moving the card 1/2 inch I stamped it again with Memento Peanut Brittle for each time it was stamped I moved the card 1/2 inch up or down to cove the card.

When this was finished I removed the mask and used Zig Clear Color to color the image. This was layered onto dark brown card stock then a white top fold card.

I want to tell you about a new product that I have found it's Avery Removable Multipurpose Labels this works great for mask and they hold up well after using them you can put it back on the release paper and save them to use again later.

Scary,Creepy Halloween

Hi all, I know the calendar says it is fall but the thermometer says it July Hot, Hot, Hot. It makes it hard to think about ghost walks and hayrides. Which are some of my favorite fall actives. And Scary movies, the scariest of them all is what you cant see. To me this Raven is super creepy why is he there what does he see.

For my card today I started by sponging the background with
Distress Ink, squeezed lemonade, and wild honey Memento tancelo, peanut brittle. If you have trouble sponging on the Memento cover the card with a coating of the lightest Distress Ink in this case the squeezed lemonade. Then adding the other colors on top. Once the background was dry I stamped the The Raven with Color Box Black then clear embossing powder. I very carefully colored the limb with brown Copic. The Accent Bats were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black.

For the greeting I stamped and embossed the Run in Fear then sponged the same colors over the top.

The spider web is a ms punch and the background is a embossing folder.

On the inside I used the Witches Brew Halloween Greeting.

Have a wonderful day,

Janett
