Bears

Good Morning everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful holiday. I sure did we spent Thanksgiving with the family, shopping on Friday, put up the tree on Sunday. It was a great time.

The card that I’m sharing with you is a birthday card that I made form my grand daughters birthday that is Dec. 7, and she wants to go to build a bear, so we are giving her a gift card. And I thought this card would go with the gift nicely.

The main image is Stampendous and the inside is Hero Arts. I stamped the image in black and colored with copic markers and sponged the edges.

Have a great day,

Hiker Boot Prints

Good morning everyone, hope your having a good day. I’m enjoying being a designer for DRS designs so much. When that package arrives in the mail it is so exciting when I open it and see all the beautiful stamps my mind starts working as to what I can make with them. Then there is that one stamp that I would never buy, and I think what am I suppose to do with this! Well the stamp that I’m sharing with you today is that stamp. Hiker-Boot-Prints946D. This card turned out to be one of my favorite cards that I made out of this release. I hope you like it as much as I do.

On light gray card stock I randomly stamped Hiker-Boot-Prints 946D using sky gray ink. Then I used my snowflake embossing folder to emboss.Polka-Dot-Background 688 was stamped on a strip of paper using Brilliance Pearlescent Ivy. I added green ribbon to both the edges. On another strip of card stock I stamped One-Line-Happy-Thoughts-Greeting 951D and the Hiker-Boot-Prints946D

Snow family

Good morning everyone. I hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. It has been a wonderful week we spent time with the grandkids, and the rest of the family. Friday was shopping with John, lots of fun, and lots of shopping done. I still have to put up the tree maybe next week.

The snowman family is a DRS designs but it has been discontinued (sorry) it was colored with copic markers and cut out. For the background I stamped the tree line stamp witch is great for making a horizon line and airbrushed the sky. The I used my embossing folder. The word stamp is a new release from DRS designs. The Snowflake is a brad. Then it was mounted onto a blue card.

Have a wonderful weekend,

Tissue Box

Saturday Lynn and I had a chance to get some stamping done. We had such a good time working on these tissue boxes. Lynn’s box is silver with the poinsettia mine is the blue with the snowflakes. We found these beautiful papers at Michaels. For the icicles I used a Martha Stewart Punch and then I glittered them. The snowflake is a DRS designs that I stamped in blue cut out and covered in glitter. Lynn’s Poinsettia is a Spellbinder die. Leave a comment if you can, I so enjoy them.

Lingering Christmas Greeting

I went a little outside the “Christmas” box on this card. I decided against the traditional reds and greens. I was actually inspired by Radio City Music Hall’s Rockettes. I went to see them last year for Christmas at the Fox Theater. They were wearing these adorable pink and green costumes! The stamp is Lingering Christmas Greeting 870HU. I used silver embossing powder on the image. I cut it out with a spellbinder oval die and layered it on another scalloped oval. I thought the pearls and silver ribbon added an elegant touch.

Thank You

I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for there kind words on my Christmas Roses Box. And thank Joan's Garden for the opportunity to enter the challenge.

Glass Block Christmas

I purchased this glass block several years ago, and could not come up with how I wanted to go about decorating it, after several false starts. I finely came up with a plan.

First I stamped my image ( DRS designs Snowman and Santa) on tissue paper with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink then I colored the image with Copic markers. After the ink had time to dry completely. I used a light coat of Mod Podge to attach the image to the glass block. Let that dry completely. Cut a piece of double sided tape large enough to completely cove the image. Attach to block. Using tiny clear beads completely cover the tape. Then I used micro fine iridescent glitter and completely cover the image. Then I used ¼ inch Red Line Tape and made a border around the image. Cover the tape with tiny gold beads and gold glitter.
Attach the ribbon and bow around the sides. I made the poinsettia flowers using Spellbinders die.

Thanks for looking.

Have a Great Day,

Christmas Greeting Ornament

Welcome everyone. Can you believe that we are already six days into November! Christmas is coming so fast and I have so many Christmas projects that I want to get done. But time keeps marching on.

The card that I’m sharing today is the new
Christmas Greeting Ornament K844
I stamped it with silver Encore ink and cut it out with Spellbinders Labels Ten die. Then I attached the rhinestones. The background was created with

and red and green ink. I love this stamp. Every time I use it the backgrounds are so different. I layered the plaid onto red card stock and attached to a white card.

Have a great day,

Janett
