Hi everyone, I hope your Christmas was as wonderful as mine was. We had a very busy few days but things have slowed down and I can get back to stamping. Christmas eve was my father in law birthday and I'm showing it to you today.

The kraft paper was stamped with the Birthday Multi Greeting and Coco ink. the red layer was stamped with the Birthday Sheet Music. I added a button and twin was the finishing touch.

On the inside I used kraft paper and the Birthday Wishes Greeting  and I stamped the Pine Bough in the corner.

And on the back I used  a simple  Script Hand Stamped.

And don't forget the Winter Wonderland challenge.

Christmas Gift Card Holder

Good morning all, I need some gift card holders so I could finish up my gift wrapping. This is what I came up with simple but cute.

The red card stock is 7 1/2 x 3 1/2 and scored at 1/2 inch and 4 inches.

The kraft card stock is 10 x 3 1/4,  scored at 4 inches and 8 inches.

I stamped the Interlocking Snow Background and white ink.

I cut a piece of the kraft card stock with a Spellbinder die and stamped the Small Merry Christmas with Coco ink and added a red line by tracing inside the die with a distress marker. The punched snowflake is MS.

The kraft layer was stamped with Splatter Background and white ink then stamped the Interlocking Snow background in the Coco ink.

This is how the inside looks.

I'm off to work on some more Christmas preparations.

Have a wonderful day,

Christmas Gifts

Hi all, I have had a busy weekend, my friend and I got some Christmas gifts finished and I thought I would share.

A few months age we made Vanilla, Lemon and Coconut Extract. Well we were starting to bottle them up and the Vanilla smells wonderful and taste great to I have used some of it in the cookies I made. The Lemon is wonderful I have not cook with it yet but the smell just makes me want to dab a little behind my ears. Then the Coconut it just did not work at all it was just straight  alcohol. We had to pour that one out. We wanted a third bottle to add to the gift set so we made some Vanilla Sugar. This one was a winner.

This is the way we decorated the bottle that I found on Amazon.

I'm very happy with the way they came out, I think they will make a cute gift set.

We used larger bottles for the Vanilla Extract.

We used burlap on all the bottles and Tear-ific-tape to attache the labels.

We added a circle of the burlap to the top of the jar.

Here is some links Vanilla

                            Lemon

                            Sugar

I hope this gives you some ideals for your Christmas gifts.

Have a wonderful day,

Janett

Hi all, I have been a busy little bee this week. Christmas cards are in the mail and I have been working on some gifts this week I will show them soon. Friday I  baked Monster cookies I love these cookies you can find the recipe Here. It was my mother in laws 79 birthday and we took them to her with a birthday card, when you ask here what she wants for a gift she all ways says nothing but I think she like her cookies.

I have started making some tags for my Christmas gifts I thought I would show them to you today.

For this tag I used the smallest part of the Woven Plaid and black in. Then I used a gold pen to add some sparkle. The main image is the cute Joyful Christmas Mouse. Copic markers were used to color the image.

For this one I used the Polka Dot Background with white ink. I used part of the Playful Penguins Postage.

The Interlocking Snow Background and white ink makes the background. The Tiny Snowman was stamped with Coco ink and colored with Copic markers. I used the background stamp and Coco ink to stamp the snowflakes.

The background on this one was done just like the last tag. I stamped the Simple Snowman and colored with Copic markers then fussy cut. He was attached with foam tape.

And last I used the smallest part of the Woven Plaid and green ink to make this checked pattern paper. The Triple Holly was colored with Copic markers and fussy cut. This was attached with foam tape. The red and white Polka strip is Decorative Tape.

The white layer was cut with a Spellbinder die

For the white panel I used the Vertical Birthday and Spun Sugar Distress Ink. For the glitter edge I used 1/8" Tear-ific Tape and bubble gum glitter. Half pearls were added at the corners.

The greeting on the inside is the All About You Birthday. On the white Scalloped Oval I used Dimensional Glue a made dots along the edge and added the pink glitter. And a pink glitter ribbon made from             1/2" Tear-ific Tape and the pink glitter.

Boxed up Snowman

By: Janett Ray

Hi everyone were starting to warm up a bit here we should reach 48, I feel so bad for the people in New York that are getting so much snow. All this talk of snow had me thinking about snowmen.

I bought the Gift Box Punch Board by We are Memory Keepers at the first of the year and have not even tried it out. Well  Craft Horders Anonymous challenge this week is boxes so I thought I would give it a try. I made three boxes 8x8 start line M, diagonal M, 2  6x6, start line S, diagonal S, and 10x10 start line L, diagonal L. On the Large and Medium box I stamped the Large Filigree Snowflake   (by DRS designs) with white Color Box ink and clear glittered embossing powder. I could not get it to show up in any of the pitchers but it looks really nice. After stamping the boxes I scored and folded them. For the buttons on the large and medium boxes I used office supply brads that I heated and dipped in black sparkle embossing powder. I opened the boxes and poked holes for the brads then closed them up. The eyes and mouth are demensional stickers and the nose it a paper triangle. Between the head box and the hat box is a black circle that I bent and shaped to look like a hat brim then I added 1/2 inch Tear-ific tape and red glitter for the band. The snow flake is a brad that was heated and diped in clear sparkle embossing powder. The scarf is 1/2 inch Tear-ific tape covered in red glitter. ( you can find more about this technique Here) I used the 1/2 inch Tear-ific Tape to stick the boxes together.

Don't forget to join in the DRS Designs Color challenge this week.
