Dance Your Heart Out

Hi all, It is spring in Georgia! The azaleas are in bud and will be blooming soon, I have been hard at work cleaning up the yard in anticipation of the beautiful colors.

All to soon it will be time for dance recitals and DRS designs has the perfect stamp for congratulations cards.

It's the New Ballerina stamp isn't she adorable. I used Copic's to color her she will be released soon.

For the top of my card I used a cloud die Then I used the soon to be released Dance Your Heart Out Greeting that I cut apart. I added some dots and sequins to finish my card.

Have a wonderful day,

Janett

Shamrocks

It's really starting to feel like spring here the flowers are blooming, the birds are back and the squirrel are playing.

So I thought I would show a ST. Patrick's Day card.

I started by stamping the Tall Shamrocks and coloring with Zig Clean Color markers. Then I stamped the Four Leaf Clover  and the One Line St. Pat's Day Greeting these were also colored with the Zig's. For the background I used the Zigs then die cut but didn't remove all the little pieces.

The lay out is from Splitcoast Card sketch.

Have a wonderful day,

LOVE

Hi all, with Valentines Day right around the corner I thought I would make one last Valentine.

I made a shaker card by starting with the background and stamping the Hugs 4 in 1 wording stamping and different shades of green ink. Then I heat embossed the Love is Patient Greeting. with white embossing powder. The green love is a Tim Holtz die. I stamped and did the no line coloring on the Medium Daisy Bloom with Zig Clean Color pens.

Have a wonderful day,

Janett

A Rose By Any Other Name

Hi all, I have been wanting to try the no line coloring for a long time. So this week when I saw that the challenge over on the Power Poppy Blog was for no line coloring, I decided to give it a try.

I decided to go old school on my stamp and us this PSX stamp.

After watching a lot of You Tube videos I felt ready to give it a try. I started by stamping with Mementos cantalope I felt like the yellow would go well with the red and green colors of the rose. To color the image I used Zig Clear Color fMarkers #022 carmine red and #041 lt. green and a water brush.

After so many week of not wanting to stamp this technique as given me a push in the right direction. The word stamp in the background is from DRS designs Script Font Background

I am going to inter this card in the Power Poppy Challenge.

Have a wonderful day,

Janett

Amazing Valentine

Hello everyone, I can't believe it is all ready February with Valentines Day right around the corner.

I started by stamping the the Heart Steam Rose on watercolor paper with Versa Mark Ink and heat embossing with white embossing powder. I used Zig Clear Color Markers to color the image. A oval die was used to cut out a frame in the red card stock and another oval frame was mounted over the top.  I stamped the Amazing Valentine's Day and cut it apart. a few sequins were added to add a little sparkle.

On the inside I stamped the Loved You Yesterday Greeting this was layered onto red card stock.

Have a Wonderful day,

Janett
