We have a new challenge at the DRS designs blog. It's plaids, how fun is that DRS designs has some great plaid stamps.
For my card I stamped the Gingerbread Boy on red card and using white embossing powder. He was fussy cut and layered on to white card that I ran through a snowflake embossing folder and cut it with a circle die this was layered on to a kraft circle. The Bottom strip was stamped with the Polka Dot background stamp and embossed with white embossing powder this was layered onto kraft card that was punched along one edge with a MS punch the plaid strip was stamped with the Open Plaid stamp and red ink and layered on to craft card. The background was embossed in the Swiss Dot Embossing folder. layered onto kraft card then a white card. I used some white seam binding for the ribbon and bow.

Square Christmas Pine
Hi all I have another Christmas card for you today. It uses another one of my favorite stamps the Christmas Pine Oval.
I stared by cutting a white card with my spellbinder die, then cutting the craft layer I used the Pine Bough that I colored with Tombow Markers. I stamped the Christmas Pine Oval and colored with Copic markers and sponged the center. Then I fussy cut and used Pop Dots to attach it to the card front.

Challenge No Layers
Hi all, Today we have another fun challenge at DRS designs. It's no layers, that right just stamp the front of a card.
For my card first I cut the edge with a Spellbinder die. Then stamped the Natures Christmas Greeting I used Tombow markers to color the image and added a little sponging around the edges. then I ran the whole card through my Zyron and add glitter to the front.I used some extra sticky tape on the in side edge them green glitter.

Merry Christmas Challenge
Hi all,

For my card I used the Large Script Merry Christmas and red ink. I stamped the Christmas Lamp Post and colored with Copics and added a little flower soft. For the edge I used a Spellbinder die.

Wintertime Buddies
Hi everyone, I have been working on Christmas cards this week. And the one I have today is one of my favorite stamps.
The image is Wintertime Buddies, I think they are so cute. I used copics to color the image and a square die to cut out the image. This was layered on to black card. I stamped the Triple Holly and fussy cut. A little Glossy Accents was added to the berries to add some shine, green ribbon was added and a tag that was stamp with the Small Merry Christmas Greeting in red.

DRS designs Challenge Lavender and Lace
Hi all,
are you ready for another challenge. Well DRS designs has a good one this week.
Lavender and Lace
For this card I used the Daisy Basket and my trusty Copics were used to color the image.
I fussy cut the image and layered it onto some die cut circles.
The Vertical Happy Birthday was stamped and layered on to some lavender card
For the glitter paper behind the sentiment I used lace and glitter.

Rain Rain Go Away
I guess you are tired of me complain about all the rain that we have had this summer. so I thought I would show you some pics. They are of some land that my farther in law has on Tolona creek were there is a cabin and a pavilion were the family goes for party's and get reunions. This is a creek not a river. The first ones are from last Thursday Aug 2.

Joyful Christmas
Have you started your Christmas cards? The time will be here before we know it.
I stamped the Holly Background on vellum and colored with copics. This was layered on to green card. The Joyful Christmas Mouse on white card and colored it with copic markers. I used a rectangle die to cut out the image and layered it on to red card. A green card stock layer was layered behind the image and some red rick rack was added to the bottom and the top corner. Everything was attached to a white card.

Challenge Diamonds and Pearls
Hi all it's Thursday and that means it's time for a new DRS designs challenge. This week it's Diamond and Pearls.
I started by stamping a embossing with silver embossing powder the Oval Design Cut Out then I stamped and embossed the Happy Anniversary in the center, a oval Spellbinder die was used to cut out the image. This was layered onto a silver layer. The white panel was embossed in a embossing folder and layered onto silver then a white card white ribbon and a bow was added to the top. some rhinestones and pearls finish the card.
