Hi all, It's Thursday and that means it's time for another challenge at the DRS designs Blog. The challenge this week is Sympathy cards.
For my card I used the Many Hearts of Sorrow Greeting and the Silhouette Branch Backgrounds.
I stamped the Many Hearts of Sorrow Greeting on vellum with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Then on white card I stamped the Silhouette Branch Background with Distress Ink in Peeled Paint. I added a ribbon ruffle onto some green card stock. A corner punch was used on the green card to hold the vellum in place.
I hope you join in our challenge this week.
Have a wonderful day,
Janett

Blooming Huge Flower
Good morning, the card that I have today if for the Tuesday Morning sketch challenge.
I have a few Distress Markers that I have had for awhile and never used so I wanted to give them a try. I do like them they blend very well on water color paper I could not get them to move at all on my Cougar card that I use with my pencils. The paper can make all the difference. I used Versafine Onyx Black to stamp the Bloomin Huge flower. The Checkerboard Background and the small one line Happy Birthday was stamp with rich coco. All the stamp are by DRS designs.
Have a wonderful day,

Dogwood
Hi all, I had to play a little this morning with some of my new toys. I used the Spellbinder Die, Marvelous Squares I think that I’m really going to like this die. But I think it is a good ideal to use some wax paper when you cut with it so everything comes out easy. The stamp is a old PSX dogwood stamp. And it was colored with copic markers.
I am going to enter this card in the following challenges.
Cupcake Inspirations
