Tag your it challenge

Hi all, I hope your enjoying this spring as much as I am. When I'm driving to work the dogwood trees are so full of blooms I don't think I have ever soon them so full ever before. And that leads me to this week challenge from DRS designs the challenge is Tag your it.

My card was inspired by the beautiful dogwood trees.

I started by making the tag. I cut some white card stock 2" by 4.25 then I used part of a Spellbinder die and cut the top. Then I stamped the Summer's End Tree  with Memento Rich Cocoa ink. Then I masked the bottom of the tag and used my air brush to color the sky with Copic B00 and B000. Then I masked the sky and sprayed the grass with YG41. I used the Easy Grass Background and Distress Ink in Peeled Paint after inking the stamp I stamped off onto scrap paper. I used a white jell pen and added some white dots. For the top of the tree I used Copic colors RV10,02,21 and did dots all over then I added a few dots of YG41. For the green background layer I stamped the Splatter Background and Peeled Paint and stamped off first. For the white background I stamped the Silhouette Butterfly Background with Spun Sugar Distress Ink. The glitter dots are paper punches that I covered with glue and pink glitter. For the ribbon I used seam binding that I sprayed with alcohol and a couple of drops of RV10 from a Copic refill.

( I could not get a good picture of the tree you can see it a little better here)

Join us in the challenge for a chance to win a $10.00 store voucher.

Have a wonderful day,

Janett
