Christmas Candle with candle ring
Good morning everyone, hope your weekend was wonderful. Today I have a stamped candle to share with you. The Image that I used is the Heartfelt creations Snowy Cardinal. I used a Memento Tuxedo black stamp pad, stamping it on tissue paper, then I colored with Prismcolored pencils. I trimmed it closed to the image. Lay it on the candle were you want the image to be, take a sheet of wax paper wrap it around the candle holding it tight in back, using a warm heat gun heat over the image until you see the image disappear into the candle.I applyed glue to the snowy areas and added flower soft snow.
For the candle ring I cut a ring from cardstock that would fit around the base of the candle. Using heartfelt creations holly leaves, Stamp on white card stock and patterned card. I colored the white card with copic markers. Using the holly leaf die by Heartfelt Creations to cut out. After shaping the leaves they were taped into groups of three, these groups were arranged around the candle base using foam tape. I stamped the holly berry on white card stock and colored with copic markers. These were attached using foam tape. Them I covered the berries with glitter glue.

From the past PSX
Good morning everyone, I had the best time yesterday, Aidan’s birthday party was so much fun. I love watching him play. Then Lynn came over we didn’t get much stamping done, but lots of talking. We started talking about how much the stamping world has changed since we started nineteen years ago. You could not find card stock, and we had to drive for two hours just to get the large blank index cards, that was what all cards were made from. There was no printed paper. Embossing was all the rage. But we were lucky enough to have a store in town that sold stamps(PSX, Stampedes) good quality stamps. Then going to our first stamp show in Atlanta and saw how much more there was. We have been to the stamp show every year. We got to looking at old cards that we made and had a good laugh. Oh how far we have come. There has been so many changes to our hobby, for the better. And still just as much fun.
Making Christmas cards has all ways been very important part of our card making, we are all ways on the look out for that perfect stamp, I don’t have a copy of all the Christmas cards that we made through the years, I wish I did, but there our family and friends that have kept them, use them for decorations from one year to the next. So we are always trying to improve our cards every year. The card that im shearing with you today was a card from about 7 or 8 years ago, it is still one of my favorites.
Have a wonderful day

Fall Wreath
Good Friday morning. With all the rain we had this week I have been crafting up a storm. I Found this wreath on another blog and thought it was so cute, I just had to give it a try. I enjoyed making the rossets and they were very easy to make, then I added a bow and some premade fall leaves. Hope you enjoy. Have a great Friday.
To Make rosette
Cut two strips 1 ½ x 12 Inches from patterned paper. Score every ½ inch along the length of the strip fan fold. Attach the two strip together at the short end making 1one strip this 2inches long . Using a 1/8 hole punch, punch holes along the top edge ( if you own a crocodile punch you can punch through more layers at a time) there should be a hole in the top of each fold. Thread a string through the holes, tie tightly moving thread to center. Tape ends of paper together forming a ring. Punch a one inch circle from card stock . Punch small hole I center of circle. Pull ends of string through hole in circle then through button tie off trim ends. Arrange on a sheet of 12X12 card stock attach with foam tape.
For the small rosette I used two - 1” x 12” strips

Christmas Tree
Good morning everyone, wow what a day yesterday was with all the tornado warnings all around. We were fine but I always worry about my dad and the kids that are grown and don’t live at home anymore. Before the storms started I decided to make a chocolate pound cake, to have before the wedding diet starts again at the end of the week. We only have 19 days until Anthony and Ashley’s big day.
I did get some stamping done. It’s another Christmas card. The image is by Stampendous. It is clean and simple card. Along the edge I used the score pal to add a little detail. The image is heat embossed with gold embossing powder.
